Jordi Díaz Gibson
Dr. Jordi Díaz-Gibson is a Full Professor at Blanquerna, Ramon Llull University, whose research and teaching are grounded in a deep commitment to education and social change. His work focuses on how educators and leaders co-create school-community learning ecosystems that foster inclusion, equity, and holistic learning, especially for students from vulnerable backgrounds.
Jordi’s approach emphasizes a systemic, networked perspective—one that bridges schools, families, and communities to support collaborative leadership and sustainable educational transformation. His research strongly aligns with the goals of the LIFT project, particularly in advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion in educational leadership and change. He investigates how learning ecosystems can be intentionally designed to support student-centered and community-responsive practices.
Through initiatives such as the NetEduProject and SchoolWeavers, Jordi and his collaborators have developed practical tools and frameworks that empower educators and community leaders to nurture inclusive, democratic, and connected educational environments. His work not only contributes to the theory and practice of educational leadership, but also inspires meaningful, equity-driven change at local and global levels.
