Dr. Robyn Whittaker is the Co-Founder & Executive Director of Africa Voices Dialogue. She also runs Kaleidoscope Lights, a consultancy to support collaboration, co-creation and learning ecosystem development for learning systems. Her research and work focuses on enabling deep collaboration and functional social development ecosystems in education and human development. Through her consultancy, Kaleidoscope Lights, and continental initiatives like Africa Voices Dialogue, she fosters cross-sectoral collaboration and supports learning communities across Africa.

Established in 2020 with co-founders Dr. Andrew Wambua (Kenya) and Prof. Abdelaziz Zohri (Morocco) Africa Voices Dialogue operates as an African Learning Ecosystem activator, creating spaces where the voices of educators, learners and communities across the continent are seen, heard, and loved, and where connection and care for those engaged in learning and human development across Africa can be experienced.

Her consultancy, Kaleidoscope Lights, supports advocacy, academic and practical work in the fields of education and human development. It focuses on cross-sectoral and multi-party collaboration and co-creation to support the mobilization of the South African learning and youth development ecosystem. Equity, and equity focused leadership, are key considerations.

Robyn is the South African Country lead and team member of the NetEdu Project, a global network of learning ecosystem practitioners and academics.
